UPDATE 10:31pm: There are possibly two victims. One with a gunshot wound to the head (critical at this time) and another wih less serious wound.
This evening at 8:30pm, Annapolis Police responded to the 1100 Block of Medgar Evers Street for a subject shot. Upon arrival they found a victim in trauma arrest (heart has stopped beating) and was immediately transported to Anne Arundel Medical Center for treatment. The condition of the victim is unknown at this time.
Neighbors in the area report hearing a volley of 6 shots just prior to the police response.
