On August 22, 2017 at approximately 8:58 a.m., officers responded to an armed robbery at the John’s General Store located at 812 Duvall Highway in Pasadena. The employee stated that the suspect entered the business with his face covered, displayed a handgun and demanded currency. A citizen in the store at the time of the robbery was also robbed of his lottery tickets.
Numerous officers and detectives, as well as a canine unit and aviation canvassed the area. A suspect was located nearby, along with property taken from the business. The suspect was arrested and charged with the robbery of the business and the citizen.
