California man faces up to 66 years for sexual abuse of a minor in Glen Burnie

Anne Arundel County State’s Attorney Wes Adams announced that Dennis Michael Delisle, 47, of Oxnard, California, was found guilty of three counts of Third Degree Sex Offense, as well as Sex Abuse of a Minor, Incest, and Fourth Degree Sex Offense by an Anne Arundel County Circuit Court jury.
“Dennis Delisle inflicted unimaginable trauma on this young victim when he repeatedly chose to abuse her trust and molest her,” said Anne Arundel County State’s Attorney Wes Adams. “I am grateful to both Anne Arundel County and Oxnard County police departments for their diligent collaboration on this case. Together we showed that no man is beyond the reach of justice.”
On June 24, 2016, Anne Arundel County Police received a report that Dennis Delisle, then residing in Oxnard County, California, sexually abused a family member when she was between the ages of 12 to 17. This occurred across multiple jurisdictions. Between 2009 and 2011, Delisle sexually abused the victim at their family home in Glen Burnie, Maryland.
Delisle faces up to 66 years in prison as a result of these convictions. Sentencing is scheduled for October 4, 2017.
Judge Michele D. Jaklitsch presided over the case. Assistant State’s Attorney Pamela Alban prosecuted the case on behalf of the citizens of Anne Arundel County.
