Arts in the Park on the books for August 26th

On Saturday, August 26, 2017, artist and musicians will join forces at the “Arts in the Park Festival” at the Chesapeake Arts Center located at 194 Hammonds Lane, Brooklyn Park, Maryland 21225. Local artists will exhibit and offer their work for sale, while a festival of live music is presented from 11AM-3PM. The Chesapeake Arts Center is organizing the FREE event, under the leadership of the Executive Director Belinda Fraley Huesman and sponsors Whiting-Turner and Arundel Federal Bank.

The free outdoor festival will include live music, Corn Hole,Moon Bounce, local artist displaying and selling their art , Batman of Baltimore, dance performances , Food Trucks and entertainment for all ages!

The music component of the festival will combine the talents of local professional musicians, singer-songwriter Colin Rowe, and indie rock bands Reve and Leo & Cygnus.

The Arts in the Park Festival is a great opportunity to see work of local artists and to enjoy some good music. For the music part of the festival, feel free to bring a lawn chair or blanket. Rain Date Information: If it rains on Saturday, August 26, the festival will be held indoors at the Hammonds Lane Theatre/ back Gallery.
