Annapolis Police execute drug raid in HACA’s Harbor House Apartments

On Aug 11, 2017 members of the Annapolis Police Drug Enforcement Unit executed a search and seizure warrant at 1150 Madison St. Apt S2 in Annapolis. Detectives found 90.5 grams of heroin with a street value $10,860.00, 15.1 grams of powder cocaine having a street value $1,510.00, $2,143.00 US Currency, 3 boxes of ammunition, and a digital scale.

“The Annapolis Police Department plays a critical role in combating the heroin and opioid crisis we are facing in Maryland,” Mayor Michael Pantelides said. “Every drug they get off the streets is a drug that will not get into the hands of our friends or family members.”

Located inside the residence was Jarrel Ford, 22 of that address. Ford was charged with possession with intent to distribute heroin, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession of ammunition by a prohibited person, and other related charges.

“This is an area in which we are going to be proactive and remove those who are causing the issues,” said Chief Scott Baker. “We want people to feel safe in their homes and in their community.”
