The Anthem announces more shows– Tegan and Sara, Grizzly Bear

AnthemI.M.P., the independent concert promotions and production company, announces more acts that will play at The Anthem. Fans will have more ways to get to The Anthem than any other music place when D.C.’s newest venue officially opens its doors this fall at The Wharf on D.C.’s Southwest Waterfront.

Dates of these just-announced shows are:

• Grizzly Bear with serpentwithfeet – November 8
• Tegan and Sara: The Con 10th Anniversary Acoustic Tour – November 11
• Odesza with Sofi Tukker & Louis Futon – November 24

Tickets go on sale for these shows Friday, July 28 at 10am through ticketfly.com and at the 9:30 Club, Merriweather Post Pavilion and Lincoln Theatre during normal box office hours.

So Many Ways To Get From There To Here

Fans will have more options to get to The Anthem than any other music venue.

• Bike – With four Capital Bikeshare stations, a host of bike racks and located just off the Riverwalk Trail System, two wheels will get you here.
• Car – Underground parking spots are available if you use a car to get you here.
• Metro – Waterfront Station on the Green line and L’Enfant Plaza on the Green, Orange, Silver, Blue, Yellow lines will get you here.
• Water Taxi – Whether you’re coming from Alexandria, Georgetown, Old Town Alexandria or National Harbor, a water taxi will get you here.

• Bus – The Wharf is launching a free bus shuttle service in Southwest DC that will run between the National Mall, L’Enfant Plaza Metro, the future Spy Museum and The Wharf. Plus Metro Bus lines W9, 74, B6 and V1 will get you here.
• Walk – Just a 12-minute walk from the Jefferson Memorial and Smithsonian Castle, and a 20-minute walk from the Washington Monument and Nationals Park will get you here.
• Taxi, Lyft, Uber – We’re at 901 Water Street, SW. One of these ride share options will easily get you here.
• Residents of The Wharf – With spectacular views of the Potomac River and national monuments, The Wharf boast stunning new condos and amenity-rich apartments.  So, neighbors, just pressing your elevator button and taking a short stroll will get you here.
