Mission Escape Rooms to debut new room this weekend

mission-escape-roomsMission Escape Rooms, a relatively new (and incredibly fun) business on West Street is changing things up. Not familiar with the concept? They have been popping up all over the country and it is really quite simple.  You go into a room and try to get out. Solve the scavenger hunt type puzzle and you open the door. Miss it…well then they let you out. But you have an hour to solve it.

It is not as easy as it seems and to keep things fresh and to offer new challenges for customers, they change up the rooms periodically. And this weekend, say goodbye to the Boudoir Room (Marilyn Monroe) and hello to Alice in Wonderland!

According to Jason Cherry, a local resident who owns the business, “Our newest addition to Mission Escape Rooms will be the completion of our Alice in Wonderland themed room, the first week in December. This experience will set your imagination reeling as you make your way through the Mad Hatters’ endless tea party, and through an exciting series of mind benders, clues and whimsical Alice in Wonderland story references. Escape before you’re stuck at the Hatters’ table forever!”

The experiences offered are appropriate for nearly any age, and wonderful for building stronger communication between those involved, whether that includes co-workers, friends or family. The cost of the  rooms runs $29.00 per person (for about an hour worth of solving time) and you can usually find some deals that those on a budget can appreciate.

The new Alice in Wonderland room will debut on Thursday, December 8th. We will be taking a peek on Friday morning around 1030am and if allowed, we’ll bring you a Facebook Live video of some of the fun.
