Next week is the Army-Navy Game that will be played at M&T Stadium in Baltimore on Saturday, December 10th with kick off scheduled for 3pm.  Injuries leading into today’s game and injuries sustained in today’s game will be a big factor in that game with a strong, bowl-eligible, Army team this year.

Navy (9-2) and Temple (9-3) will meet on Saturday afternoon at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium (34,000) in Annapolis, Md. in the American Athletic Conference Championship

Game. Kickoff is set for 12:07 PM and the game will be televised nationally by ABC with Joe Tessitore, Todd Blackledge and Holly Rowe on the call.

Temple is making its second consecutive appearance in the AAC Championship Game, while Navy will be playing for a conference championship for the first time in the program’s 136-year history. The Mids were an Independent for the first 134 seasons before joining the AAC last year.

Navy leads the all-time series against Temple, 6-5, including a 31-24 victory in the last meeting between these two squads in 2014 at Lincoln Financial Field.

Navy is 26-5 (.839) over its last 31 games. The Mids own wins over No. 15 Memphis (2015) and No. 6 Houston (2016) during that time period.

Navy is 14-2 (.875) in the AAC since joining the conference a year ago.

The March-On of the Brigade of Midshipmen will take place at 11:46 AM.

Following the game, Navy’s alma mater, Navy Blue & Gold, will be played as the team stands at attention in front of the Brigade of Midshipmen. It is one of the best traditions in all of sports.

There will be a postgame awards ceremony on the field for the winning team.

Prior to the game there will be a flyover by Strike Fighter Squadron 211 (VFA-211), nicknamed the “Fighting Checkmates” based at Naval Air Station Oceana and is equipped with the F/A-18F Super Hornet. The squadron’s radio call sign is “Nikel”.

Navy is coming off a 28-27 upset victory over Notre Dame, while Tulsa has won three straight contests including last week’s 45-24 dismantling of East Carolina.

Navy leads the all-time series, 2-1, including a 44-21 win last year in Tulsa.

Navy is 23-5 (.821) over its last 28 games with three of the five losses coming against ranked opponents and all five of the losses coming away from home (Notre Dame at FedExField in 2014, at Notre Dame in 2015, at Houston in 2015, at unranked Air Force in 2016 and at unranked USF in 2016). The Mids own wins over top-15 programs Memphis (2015) and Houston (2016) during that same time period.

The March-On of the Brigade of Midshipmen will be at 11:37 AM.

A fly-over will take place at approximately 11:48 AM at the end of the national anthem by HSC-2. Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron TWO (HELSEACOMBATRON TWO or HSC-2), also known as the Fleet Angels, is a helicopter squadron of the United States Navy based at Naval Station Norfolk operating the Sikorsky MH-60S Knighthawk. The Fleet Angels are a Fleet Replacement Squadron providing trained MH-60S crew to units on the East Coast. Former Navy football player Lt. Cmdr. Wayne Irons (’05) will be one of the pilots.

Navy’s 31 seniors will be honored in a pregame ceremony starting at 11:49 AM.

At halftime, there will be a performance by Cheerleaders of America, as well as the Naval Academy Drum & Bugle Corps
