Navy and Tulsa will meet with first place in the American Athletic Conference West Division on the line Saturday afternoon at Navy- Marine Corps Memorial Stadium (34,000) in Annapolis. Kickoff for Saturday’s Senior Day contest is set for 12:00 noon and the game will be televised nationally by CBS Sports Network. Chesapeake Collision is the presenting game day sponsor.

Navy is coming off a 28-27 upset victory over Notre Dame, while Tulsa has won three straight contests including last week’s 45-24 dismantling of East Carolina.
Navy leads the all-time series, 2-1, including a 44-21 win last year in Tulsa.
Navy is 23-5 (.821) over its last 28 games with three of the five losses coming against ranked opponents and all five of the losses coming away from home (Notre Dame at FedExField in 2014, at Notre Dame in 2015, at Houston in 2015, at unranked Air Force in 2016 and at unranked USF in 2016). The Mids own wins over top-15 programs Memphis (2015) and Houston (2016) during that same time period.

A fly-over will take place at approximately 11:48 AM at the end of the national anthem by HSC-2. Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron TWO (HELSEACOMBATRON TWO or HSC-2), also known as the Fleet Angels, is a helicopter squadron of the United States Navy based at Naval Station Norfolk operating the Sikorsky MH-60S Knighthawk. The Fleet Angels are a Fleet Replacement Squadron providing trained MH-60S crew to units on the East Coast. Former Navy football player Lt. Cmdr. Wayne Irons (’05) will be one of the pilots.
Navy’s 31 seniors will be honored in a pregame ceremony starting at 11:49 AM.
At halftime, there will be a performance by Cheerleaders of America, as well as the Naval Academy Drum & Bugle Corps
