AYC ranked as top club in US

aycPlatinum Clubs of America released its 2016-18 rankings and Annapolis Yacht Club was voted the fifth best private club in the U.S.

Over 3,000 general managers, owners and presidents from private clubs all around the U.S. voted in the biennial rankings. The Platinum Clubs of America represent the upper 5% of America’s Top Private Clubs of Excellence. The process to rank the top private clubs takes place over a 90-day period. The votes are then counted and certified by an independent third party.

AYC General Manager Brian Asch said the club is honored to have been recognized by Platinum Club of America.

“Being acknowledged by our peers as a Platinum Club truly exemplifies Annapolis Yacht Club’s commitment to providing an unparalleled experience for its members, which is made possible by having quality staff that strive for excellence and membership that embraces the Club’s time honored traditions,” Asch said.

St. Francis Yacht Club (San Francisco, Calif.) was ranked No. 1, with San Diego Yacht Club (San Diego, Calif.), Grosse Point Yacht Club (Grosse Point, Mich.), New York Yacht Club (New York, N.Y.), and AYC making up the remainder of the Top 5.
