Anne Arundel County Police investigating murder in Brooklyn Park

MurderOn Friday, November 4, 2016 at approximately 6:42 p.m., Anne Arundel County Northern District Officers responded to the area of Levin Road and Alley 16 for a report of shots fired. Upon arrival officers located an adult male suffering from apparent trauma to the upper body lying in the alley. Fire Department personnel responded to the scene and pronounced the male deceased.

Anne Arundel County Homicide detectives responded to the scene to investigate the death as an apparent homicide. The victim was identified as Trayvon Dashawn Briscoe a twenty-one year old male from the 200 block of West Meadow Road, Brooklyn, Maryland. Mr. Briscoe’s body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine the exact cause and manner of death.

Northern Patrol Units closed the area down as homicide detectives and evidence technicians checked the area for items of evidentiary value. Detectives canvassed the area and interviewed several witnesses and are piecing together the chain of events that led to the death of Mr. Briscoe.
