Mission BBQ to start delivering by water with new refurbished RIB

MBBQ_Logo_Mission BBQ, the Baltimore-born fast-casual BBQ restaurant that proudly serves those who serve, celebrates its recently-opened Annapolis location as well as the pending opening of its 40th store location with a christening of its first ever Mission BBQ boat.

Known for their all-black, military-style signature Mission BBQ delivery trucks, the brand has added the first Mission BBQ delivery boat to its BBQ fleet, making the ultimate American cuisine available to patrons by land and by sea.

The new Mission BBQ boat is a refurbished Coast Guard Rib Boat that was re-painted and decorated in the same branding and style as the iconic delivery truck. The boat will make appearances at dock parties around the harbor, and eventually deliver Mission BBQ to other boats in the Annapolis waters.

The introduction of the delivery boat further signifies Mission BBQ’s incredible growth over the past five years. Originally predicting they would open 40 stores by the end of 2018, Mission BBQ will open its 40th location in November in Tampa, FL; two years ahead of schedule. The restaurant has grown to 12 locations in their home state of Maryland alone, and now predict they will double their original projection and open 80 restaurants by 2018.
