South County Concert Association prepares to launch 41st season

SOuth County Concert AssnThe South County Concert Association begins its forty first season of providing quality live entertainment at a very reasonable price of $3.25 per performance. Because it has reciprocal agreements with the Anne Arundel Community Concert Association (AACCA) of Severna Park and the Maryland Concert Series (MCS) of Glen Bernie, subscribers can attend 17 live concerts for $55 per person, $65 for 1 parent family and $120 to 2 parent family. These concerts include professional local, national and international entertainers. All of the concerts are held in local high schools and each concert association is managed by volunteers, which makes quality live entertainment at such a bargain price.

This seasons concerts will begin on September 20 at Severna Park High School with David Burham’s Broadway and end with the Capital Steps at Southern High School on May 23. Because of limited seating, only season ticket holders will be admitted to the Capital Steps performance. The $20 pay at the door attendees will only be seated if there are vacant seats available.

Most of concerts are approximately 2 hours long and begin at 7:30 p.m. Both SCCA and MCS will each have single concerts that will begin at 3 p.m. on Sundays.

Additional information can be obtained on www.southcountyconcerts.org or by calling F. R. Gouin at301-789-3295 or Betty Knupp at410-956-4881. Season passes can be purchased at the beginning of each performance payable by check or cash only. This is the best entertainment bargain in town.
