Anne Arundel Community College has made helping former ITT students a top priority, following the closing of the ITT Technical Institute campus in Hanover.
AACC will hold an open house for ITT Tech students on Tuesday, Sept. 13, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at its Center for Cyber and Professional Training (CCPT) located at 7556 Teague Road, Hanover to help students transition and continue on a path to success. A range of staff and faculty will be on hand to answer questions and talk to students about their short-term and long-term goals to help craft the best transition scenario and individualized academic plan. Topics will include how to transfer credits; financial aid options, including Veterans benefits; and programs of study. Free parking is available.
To help ITT Tech students remain on track with their educational goals, AACC has established the following resources:

Through its foundation, AACC will also provide $150 textbook coupons as part of a welcome package for former ITT students.

AACC’s two-year degree programs can transfer to four-year degree programs at multiple colleges throughout Maryland as well as out of state. In addition, AACC offers industry-certified credentials and workforce training programs that can be applied on-the-job for current working professionals.
