Homestead Gardens Fall Festival opens this weekend

Homestead-Fall-Fest-23The 2016 Annual Homestead Gardens Fall Festival opens Saturday, September 24 & Sunday, September 25, and continues every weekend, 11am-6pm on Saturdays and 11am-4pm Sundays, through and including Sunday, October 29th.  There is plenty of free parking and a $5 admission fee to this popular family oriented event!

Homestead’s Fall Festival has grown over the years and today six (6) acres are transformed into a celebration of fall, family and fun.

There is something for everyone, young and old. Take the whole family on a hayride to the pumpkin patch and pick your own pumpkins, wind your way through the two (2) acre corn maze (there’s a smaller one for the kiddies), ride the pumpkin express, stroll through the iconic showroom dressed for fall like no other place, bite into a World Famous Homestead apple cider doughnut – over one million enjoyed!.   Meet the goats, alpaca’s and chickens in the barnyard. There’s live music every weekend, delicious food and beverages, “extreme” pumpkin carving and other demonstrations, face painting, pony rides and more. Since 1973, involving the community has always been a top priority to the Riddle family. Attendees will find that each weekend the festival features local non-profit organizations whose good work helps make our community a wonderful place to live. . “We are ever mindful of generosity of the community where we all live and work,” said Brian Riddle.
