Another shooting plagues Annapolis’ Robinwood neighborhood

shootingThere has been yet another shooting in the Robinwood neighborhood of Annapolis Robinwood is a public housing community owned by the Housing Authority of the City of Annapolis which also has been plagued with problems.

Last night at 10:30pm Annapolis City Police responded to the 1400 block of Tyler Avenue for reports of shots fired and located a 20 year female who was shot. The victim was the passenger in a vehicle. Three other unoccupied vehicles were struck by gun fire. The victim was transported to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Just over a week ago, a similar shooting (fatal) occurred less than 2 miles away in the Bywater neighborhood.
The Robinwood community has experienced much violence in the past.
