JulyFlyerOn Saturday, July 30, Maryland’s finest Gourmet Food Trucks will descend on the Racetrack Infield at Maryland State Fairgrounds for the inaugural Trifecta Food Truck Festival; a family-friendly celebration of food, music and local craft beers. The infield will be transformed into a festive playground with an assortment of fun activities for both adults and kids including moon bounces, dunk tanks, kids party truck, giant beer pong, face painting, corn hole competitions, a visit by The Oriole bird and more. The infield stage will feature Brothers of The Road, an amazing Allman Brothers Tribute band from New York plus long-time Baltimore favorites All Mighty SenatorsJah WorksKelly Bell BandBosleyReverend Smackmaster and Gypsy Soul Revival. A vendor village will also showcase many local artists, businesses and non-profits. Trifecta provides Free Parking and encourages families to attend with Free Admission for Kids 12 & under.

Given the massive popularity of food trucks in many cities across the nation, it was only a matter of time before someone brought the food craze to the county. Enter Paul Manna of 24-7 Entertainment, who’s been booking bands in Baltimore since 1997 and promoter of the popular rock festival, The Shindig. “The goal is finding the perfect balance between throwing a big party with gourmet food trucks, booking the best local bands, and provide a space for the entire family to enjoy. So many of Maryland’s most popular events are held in the city. Baltimore County deserves a large scale event like this they can call their own”.

Dave Pulford, president of The Maryland Mobile Food Vending Association says, “Our members are very excited to work with 24-7 Entertainment to produce the premier Food Truck event! With a wide variety of food offered by the best food trucks in Maryland and the entertainment that will be there, this event is a must attend by everyone that enjoys food and music!”

Relax under one of the large dining tents as you enjoy a wide variety of Maryland’s most popular savory and sweet food trucks. Soak in the sights, smells and sounds of summer at this flagship event organized by two local and respected veterans, Paul Manna and Dave Rather, owner of Mother’s Federal Hill Grille and the newly opened Mother’s in Timonium.

Drew Pumphrey, chef/owner of the award winning food truck, The Smoking Swine, which was recently featured on Guy Fieri’s, “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” on The Food Network says, “This event has all the hallmarks of a great time for everyone involved. You’ve got only the best food trucks the region has to offer, amazing live local music and it’s all put on by 24-7 Entertainment, so you know it’s going to rock!”
