Pasadena man charged with attempted murder in Crownsville shooting

On June 26, 2016 at 1:44 am, members of the Anne Arundel County Police Department’s Western District responded to the area of the 1000 block of Shore View Circle in Crownsville to investigate a shooting complaint. The victim reported that they had been shot by a known acquaintance while attending a party in the area. The victim was transported for treatment at an area hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Responding officers located a crime scene in the area and the incident was investigated by the Western District Detective Unit. The shooting suspect was identified by witnesses who were present at the incident, which resulted in a search warrant being executed to locate evidence related to the crime. Detectives executed a search warrant in the 1100 block of Annis Squam Harbour in Pasadena where two firearms were recovered.

An arrest warrant was issued for Nathaniel Brewsaugh and he was arrested and transported to the Anne Arundel County Detention Center where he is currently awaiting trial after being held without bond.
