Eddie McGowan, Director of the Annapolis Irish Festival announced today the 2016 Annapolis Irish Festival will honor the brave men and women who serve our country in the United States Military. All persons with a valid military ID and one guest will be admitted for free on Friday, July 15.
“It’s our way of thanking these courageous men and women, their families and loved ones, for the sacrifices they make each and everyday in service to our country,” said McGowan. The evening will include the presentation of colors, pipe and drum corps, music salute by the Goddard sisters. “This year we are honored to have Colonel Brian Patrick Foley, Garrison Commander of Ft. Meade as our speaker.”
