Don’t forget Tides and Tunes every Thursday at AMM

ammThe Annapolis Maritime Museum (AMM) is excited to present the free summertime concert series, Tides and Tunes. Presented by Adams Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM, Tides and Tunes is a free family-friendly and dog-friendly weekly concert series held every Thursday from June 16 to August 18 at AMM’s campus, Beachside 723 Second St., Annapolis, 21403. Each Thursday, Tides and Tunes will host a local band to perform against the scenic back-drop of the Chesapeake Bay.

Through the Tides and Tunes concerts, AMM’s goal is to create a sense of community and raise awareness of its many programs and activities. Admission to Tides and Tunes is free, but a $10 donation per person is greatly appreciated. The money raised from Tides and Tunes supports the Museum Education Center’s environmental programs. The Education Center at AMM annually educates over 6,000 students about Chesapeake Bay ecology and the vivid maritime heritage of the Annapolis area.

Tides and Tunes is an exceptional way for families to enjoy live music while overlooking the extraordinary Chesapeake Bay. AMM’s Executive Director, Alice Estrada, says “The concerts appeal to all ages, and even our four-legged friends. They are truly magical as folks enjoy live music, visit with neighbors and enjoy our beautiful Bay view on warm summer evenings.”

Beer, wine, mixed drinks, and food are available to purchase during the concert. No coolers or outside alcohol permitted. Tides and Tunes guests are recommended to bring a blanket or lawn chairs for seating during the concert. In case of inclement weather, the concerts will be help inside the Museum.
