Construction worker electrocuted in Rosehaven industrial accident yesterday

electrocutionAn industrial accident killed one person Wednesday morning in Rosehaven. Firefighters responded to the 7100 block of Lake Shore Drive just after 9:50 a.m. for the report of a worker electrocuted in a manhole. This is near the site of a hotel under construction near Herrington Harbor South. The patient, a 44-year-old male, had been removed from the manhole prior to the arrival of firefighters and was in cardiac arrest. After efforts to resuscitate him on the scene were not successful, he was declared deceased. Notification has been made to the Maryland Occupational Safety and Health Administration for investigation.
