Providence Center’s 24th Annual Moran Classic scheduled for Monday

golfProvidence Center, a non-profit organization that serves adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Anne Arundel County, announced today that its 24th Annual Moran Golf Classic will be held on June 6th at Queenstown Harbor in Queenstown.  The Classic will once again be presented by Severna Park-based Moran Insurance, Chiron Technology Services, a Columbia-based cyber security and technology company, and Reliable Contracting Co., a Gambrills-based construction company.

The Golf Classic raises funds for Providence Center’s programs and services that support nearly 500 men and women with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Classic is Providence Center’s largest fundraising event of the year, drawing a diverse group of sponsors, supporters, and golfers for a great day on the links with raffles and a silent auction.

Marc Dorman, President of Moran Insurance, Dave Pappas, President of Chiron Technology Services, and Jay Baldwin, President of Reliable Contracting Co., released a joint statement:

“We are proud to partner with Providence Center and serve as presenting sponsors for its Golf Classic. We understand the important role Providence Center plays in ensuring that those with disabilities live rich, full lives and have opportunities to contribute to the world around them. We believe that our community is stronger through partnerships with our vital nonprofits and we hope our partnership will build broader support for Providence Center and the future of those they serve.”
