Slovakian trio to perform at Maryland Hall

Kauder Trio instrumentsThe Hugo Kauder Trio, composed of musicians from Slovakia, will give a free performance called “Jewels from Eastern Europe” at 7 p.m. May 26 at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts, 801 Chase St., Annapolis.

The classical trained musicians will present music of such well-known composers as Peter Tschaikowsky, Antonin Dvorak and Hugo Kauder.  Friends for many years, the artists are Ivan Danko, oboist, Robert Lakatos, violist, and Ladislav Fanzowitz at the piano. They have performed as a trio since 2008 and are known throughout Europe and in the United States.

The free concert is sponsored by World Artists Experiences in partnership with the Embassy of Slovakia and in cooperation with Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts.  WAE is a non-profit organization which bridges international understanding through cultural exchanges,  For more information check the WAE website at worldartists.org or call, 410-647-7494.
