Baysox 2016Baysox starter David Hess threw seven one-run innings as Bowie topped Richmond 6-3 in the series finale Wednesday night at P.G. Stadium. Catcher Chance Sisco provided the bulk of the offense, with a season-high four RBI on a pair of two-out hits.

With two outs, Paredes singled to left field and Corban Joseph followed with a walk. Joey Terdoslavich and Chance Sisco then hit back-to-back singles to right field to bring home a pair of runs and give Bowie a 2-0 lead.

Tucker Nathans gave the Baysox a 3-0 lead with a solo home run to right field to lead off the bottom of the second inning.

Tyler Horan responded for Richmond with a solo home run to center field to lead off the top of the third inning and cut the Baysox lead to 3-1.

Bowie kept the two-out runs coming in the bottom of the fifth inning. Mike Yastrzemski hit a one-out single to left field and Corban Joseph followed with a two-out single to center field to extend his hitting streak to 12 games. Terdoslavich walked to load the bases and Sisco then came through with a bases clearing double to center field to give the Baysox a 6-1 lead.

Richmond cut into the Baysox lead in the top of the eighth inning against Baysox reliever Garrett Cortright. With one out, Eliezer Zambrano, Ali Castillo and Ryder Jones each doubled to bring home two runs and make the score 6-3.

Cortright threw the final two innings for the Baysox, allowing two runs on three hits while striking out one batter.
