The Walk & Run for the Animals is the SPCA of Anne Arundel County’s largest annual fundraiser. Funds raised from this event help the shelter continue its mission of helping animals and educating the community. “The Walk not only supports the thousands of animals the SPCA cares for each year, but it is also a way for people to be a part of improving the lives of animals in our community,” said Kelly Brown, SPCA Board President. “We encourage people to walk with or without a dog, in memory of a beloved pet, or in honor of their cat or other companion animal.”

Participants are encouraged to register online at www.spcawalkfortheanimals.org – you can even create your own personal fundraising page and ask family, friends, and co-workers to donate. The sooner you register the soon you can start collecting donations. Raise a minimum of $40 and get the official Walk for the Animals t-shirt.

In addition to the support from the community,  the  Top Dog sponsors this year are Maryland Live! Casino & Spoiled Rotten Dogs, Inc.
