The Manhattan Transfer & Take 6

Combining forces for the first time, The Manhattan Transfer and Take 6, two of the most acclaimed, award-winning vocal groups in pop music, create an unforgettable concert event that will thrill audiences of all ages. Each of these legendary acts has 10 Grammy Awards to their credit amongst a host of other recognitions. Each will perform a set, culminating with a duet featuring the tightest harmonies known in the music business as well as innovative arrangements and funky grooves.

As the Manhattan Transfer celebrates the 40th anniversary of their debut recording, Janis Siegel, Alan Paul and Cheryl Bentyne are honoring founding member Tim Hauser as they tour with their newest member, Trist Curless. With worldwide sales in the millions and as veterans of sold-out world tours, The Manhattan Transfer’s appeal is timeless.

TMT joins Take 6 as they share their crystal clear harmony, innovative arrangements and funky grooves — demonstrating why this sextet is recognized as the preeminent acappella group in the world. Quincy Jones has heralded Take 6’s Claude McKnight, Mark Kibble, Joel Kibble, Dave Thomas, Alvin Chea and Khristian Dentley as the “baddest vocal cats on the planet.”

No ordinary double bill, this is a show combining unexpected twists and turns to create a once-in-a-lifetime event.
