Schuh to host live chat during PBS Frontline’s “Chasing Heroin”

heroinCounty Executive Steve Schuh is inviting the public to join a “live chat” during the PBS Frontline two-hour special “Chasing Heroin” on Feb. 23.

“Awareness is a major part of attacking the plague on our community that is heroin addiction,” County Executive Schuh said. “One of the most important things we need to do is engage teens and parents. We are encouraging everyone to watch this program together and talk about what we can do to keep our children off drugs.”

The program airs on Feb. 23 from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. A panel of experts including County Executive Schuh, Police Chief Tim Altomare, Health Officer Jinlene Chan, and Mobile Crisis Team director Jen Corbin will comment during the program and answer questions via Twitter.
