Thousands of people already have seen the exhibit curated by the Chesapeake Arts Center that is headed for Gallery 90. But it actually will be more accessible than it was at its previous location, BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport’s Terminal D, where one had to be a traveler or employee and pass through security to see it.
Now “Maryland, My Maryland,” will be on display from Jan. 22 through March 24 in the art gallery that is located throughout the Hospice of the Chesapeake’s administrative building on the John & Cathy Belcher Campus at 90 Ritchie Highway, Pasadena, MD. Anyone can simply contact the nonprofit for an opportunity to view the art.
The Gallery 90 exhibit is a smaller version of the display that had been at the airport from April to October of last year along walls that were set up during construction on a terminal expansion project. It was the largest exhibit ever displayed at the BWI Airport.
The 60 or so works of art displayed features people, scenes and ideas that are iconic to the Free State by talented Maryland photographers and graphic artists, including Jase Anzulis, Stephen Bradley, Nicole Caracia, Ricky Chenoweth, William Edwards, Emily Forgo, Sidney Jackson, Greg Ketterman, Geoff Lawrence, Vienne Rea and Bill Shewbridge.
