In preparation for this holiday season, pastry elves at The Inn at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club have been working overtime to create an oversized holiday Croquembouch. This delectable sweet delight located in the hotel lobby, stands 8 ½ feet tall and consists of 1,734 profiteroles made from scratch and meticulously placed creating an awe inspiring holiday exhibit. The Inn’s talented pastry team, led by Pastry Chef Kelly Germerhausen began construction on this enormous structure in July. In conjunction with the opening of Knoxie’s Table and The Market, Chef Germerhausen and her team worked tirelessly creating this holiday spectacular which was unveiled in the hotel lobby this week.
The hotel lobby has been transformed with holiday decorations inspired by a farm-to-table theme created by the talented team from Monteray Farms Flowers and Gifts of Trappe, Maryland.
