Bosom Buddies Charities (BBC) is honored that Maryland’s First Lady Yumi Hogan and Monica Rutherford, wife of the Maryland’s Lt. Governor, will be the Honorary Chairs of its 2016 Super Heroes Ball. The Ball will take place on January 9, 2016, at the Annapolis Westin Hotel. Celebrating its tenth anniversary, BBC has raised over $1.5 million since it was founded and has provided grants to Anne Arundel Medical Center Breast Center, UM Shore Regional Breast Center, Compass Regional Hospice, and other cancer support groups.
“We are honored to have Yumi Hogan and Monica Rutherford join us in the fight against breast cancer,” said BBC Chair Biana Arentz, “and we are grateful for their support and look forward to working together.” Aileen Carlucci, a breast cancer survivor, is the 2016 Bosom Buddies Ball honoree. Elizabeth DeCesaris, also a breast cancer survivor, and Biana Arentz are the co-chairs of the event.
