Steven Heinl joins Hyatt & Weber

Steve Heinl The law firm of Hyatt & Weber, P.A. has added Steven Heinl as an associate in the practice.  Heinl counsels clients on estate planning, probate administration and small business formation.

He assists clients with their wills, trusts, powers of attorney and advance medical directives. He also helps clients navigate the complexities that can arise during the probate process when dealing with the estate of a loved one.  For his small business formation practice, he helps entrepreneurs file the necessary paperwork to get their business started, which includes operating agreements, articles of organization and non-compete agreements.

“Steven brings to the firm much experience with estate planning and small business development,” said Alan Hyatt, founding partner of Hyatt & Weber and head of its land use and real estate practices. “His strengths will complement our current practice groups and will add to our high-quality legal services for representing our clients.” 

Prior to joining Hyatt & Weber, Heinl worked as a legislative aide for Councilwoman Vicki Almond of Baltimore County for five years.  There he conducted legislative research, was a political strategy advisor and formed relationships with local business and community leaders and real estate developers. While working for Councilwoman Almond, he started his own law practice in Baltimore County.

Heinl grew up in Glen Burnie, but now lives in Pikesville with his wife and two children.  He received an associate’s degree from Anne Arundel Community College, and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Baltimore. Both of these degrees were in Jurisprudence. He attended the University of Baltimore School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctorate in 2012.
