PRSA presents: Ways to tell your organization’s story on social media

social-mediaWith media news space narrowing, organizations and companies need other ways to tell their stories. At the Wednesday, Nov. 18 meeting of the Chesapeake Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), expert panelists will share “Creative and Productive Uses of Social Media” they use to communicate key messages with their target audiences. 

Speakers include several social media professionals:

  • Rob Beach, director of digital communications for the Chesapeake Bay Foundation.
  • Christine Feldmann, director of marketing and communications for the Anne Arundel County Library system.
  • Rhonda Wardlaw, Annapolis’ chief communications officer and spokesperson.

The event is from noon to 1:30 p.m. at Union Jack’s British Pub, 2072 Somerville Road in Annapolis. Register on the chapter’s website, www.prsachesapeake.org .The cost of the  meeting including lunch is $25 for chapter members, $30 for nonmembers and $15 for students.
