The Launch Party drew nearly 100 attendees, including members of the Annapolis Partnership board and City Council from various areas of the City of Annapolis, as well as a cross section of our businesses, non-profits and residental communities. During the formal program, Annapolis Partnership executive committee members Steve Samaras, Doug Smith, Sean O’Neill and Veronica Tovey revealed the new logo and announced the investment of more than $8,000 to support holiday event advertising though local media outlets, as well as nearly $30,000 in holiday decorations.

“The Annapolis Partnership’s new logo, created by Herrmann Advertising | Branding | Technology, is a vibrant reflection of the city’s greatest assets with iconic business, residential, government and maritime elements depicted in a modern, sophisticated manner,” said Judi Herrmann, the agency’s president and creative director. “The logo design captures the essence of the Annapolis Partnership’s mission and symbolizes the partnerships vital to our community’s prosperity.”

The holiday decorations to be purchased by the Annapolis Partnership include lamp post greenery, wreaths, street swags, lighted planter boxes, Snow Flake Alley lighting and tree trimmings. Through a contract with Homestead Gardens the decorations will appear on Main Street, Maryland Avenue, West Street, Church Circle and adjoining streets.  In addition, Homestead Gardens has agreed to contribute the decorations and trimming of the city’s Holiday Tree. The Annapolis Partnership announced that Sheehy Lexus of Annapolis is the title sponsor this holiday season and shared postcards outlining holiday events, including Midnight Madness and Grand Illumination.
