Friends and family of the late artist Gail H. Henderson and the Muddy Creek Artists Guild have established the Gail Henderson Memorial Scholarship housed at the Anne Arundel Community College Foundation to benefit AACC art students.

Henderson was an abstract painter who used vibrant colors to portray scenes from the American Southwest and rural Spain. She had a lifelong passion for art which grew into a professional career in education. The latest $3,200 contribution from the Guild’s sales in 2014 extended the life of the fund.
