Chasing Verity, is known for strong, soulful vocals, powerful, driving guitar, and dynamic live performances. Based in Baltimore & Annapolis, Maryland, and influenced by blues and classic rock bands like Led Zeppelin, Janis Joplin, and Jimi Hendrix, Chasing Verity brings its own youthful, modern twist to an old school rock sound, creating music that defies easy labeling. The band has been described as classic rock, alternative rock, pop, pop punk, and even “hippie punk.” Whatever the label, they aim to put on an energetic live performance that audiences won’t soon forget and to create music that audiences will enjoy playing over and over again once the live performance has ended.
The band has also been collaborating with other musicians and artists for special projects. Jolie and Peter were especially proud to work on “One Baltimore,” a song collaboration with other concerned Baltimore-area musicians and Konexion Studio in response to the Freddie Gray tragedy and the events that followed in Baltimore. They are hopeful that the powerful message of the song will help in the healing process and ongoing rebuilding efforts in Baltimore and other areas similarly affected.
