Mayor Michael J. Pantelides announced that the City of Annapolis has received a total of $75,000 from the State Waterway Improvement Fund to expand and enhance public boating opportunities and improve boating safety.
“I am grateful for the state’s continued support to our recreational boating resources, benefiting the visitors, residents, and merchants of Annapolis.”
$50,000 was made available July 1 for overall waterway improvements with an additional $25,000 earmarked for abandoned vessel and debris clean up on our local public waters.
