4th Annual Kegs & Corks festival breaks records

More than 10,000 people flocked to the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds on Saturday under bright sunny skies to sample the wares of more than 20 Maryland wineries and more than 30 craft breweries.

The festival, now a staple in the community benefited the Chesapeake Bay Trust and featured something for everyone. Three bands played the Union Jacks Annapolis sponsored stage including Tropical Soul, The Chris Sachs Band, and local favorite, The Reagan Years.

VIP Catering was provided by Park Tavern in Severna Park.

Different this year than in the past was that all samples were unlimited. Organizer Sharon Finecey said, “people complained about the tickets in the past; so this year, we decided to do away with them and it looks like it is working pretty well.”

As this year’s festival winds down, plans are already underway for the 2016 one which will (of course) be better than ever. Eye On Annapolis has been the presenting sponsor of this festival since its inception in 2012.
