Freedom on the Water! Disabled individuals and their families, caregivers and friends are invited to a recreational sail with Chesapeake Region Accessible Boating (CRAB) on the beautiful Chesapeake Bay.

September 20                  Sandy Point State Park                 Annapolis          9:30am – 2:30pm
October 18                     Sandy Point State Park                 Annapolis         9:30am – 2:30pm
*Because Sandy Point State Park may fill to capacity and have to turn cars away, arrive early for entry into the park. The last boat will still leave the dock at 2:30 pm.

SailFrees are free of charge but donations are appreciated. There is a park entry fee at Sandy Point State Park. There is no pre-registration required.

CRAB has a fleet of Freedom Independence 20-foot sailboats which are designed to meet the needs of sailors with disabilities. The boats make sailing safe and fun for everyone.

 

Chesapeake Region Accessible Boating (CRAB) provides opportunities for people with physical and developmental challenges to experience the joy and freedom of sailing on the Chesapeake Bay.

To make the therapeutic benefits of sailing and the freedom it provides a reality for physically and/or developmentally-challenged individuals and their families regardless of their financial circumstances.
