Back Creek Benefits is excited to announce that MINI of Annapolis has agreed to be a sponsor for the 19th annual Eastport a Rockin’, to be held on June 20, 2015, from 11am – 8pm.
Created as a way to expose local music to a larger audience, Eastport-A-Rockin’ draws attendees from across the region and is known as the local music festival of the summer. Four stages now host 30+ bands and music remains a key component of Eastport-A-Rockin’, as up and coming local bands with a wide range of styles display their talents. Over the last 18 years, Eastport-A-Rockin’ has been a launching pad for the careers of world renowned artists Good Charlotte and Jimmie’s Chicken Shack as well as numerous regional and local bands. Local music lovers crowd this event to get a glimpse of the next big Chesapeake region act. From rock to folk to roots to blues to rockabilly to bluegrass to soul to country, the breadth of music types found at the Festival is sure to please everyone who attends.
MINI of Annapolis is sponsoring the entrance, giving attendees the opportunity to check out some of their vehicles. “All are welcome and encouraged to open the doors of all of our vehicles that we’ll have on display.”
General Admission tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door, free for all children under the age of 12. Proceeds from the event benefit local organizations, including The Annapolis Maritime Museum, the Annapolis Musicians Fund for Musicians (AMFM), the Eastport Volunteer Fire Co and Eastport Elementary.
