caitlin fishingTravel back in time with the Annapolis Maritime Museum on Saturday, June 13th from 10:00am-11:00am for a fish-filled family program. Put your pioneer skills to the test as you make your own bamboo fishing rod, fish from the museum docks, and paint an apron with fish prints. Participants may also bring a plain t-shirt to paint if they would like. Family program activities are geared for children 5-8 years old; however, children of all ages are welcome. Activities occur rain or shine. Registration is required, member registration is free and nonmember registration is $5.00 per child. No charge for accompanying adults. Register at www.amaritime.org/education/youth-family-programs#family

The Education Center at the Annapolis Maritime Museum provides field trips, summer camps and educational programming for all ages.  The Annapolis Maritime Museum is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization dedicated to educating students and adults on the area’s rich maritime heritage and the ecology of the Chesapeake Bay through programs, exhibits and community events. The Museum partners with community groups, government entities, and other like-minded organizations to deliver high-quality educational initiatives and programs on subjects ranging from history and culture to the environment and good stewardship practices.
