Archaeology in Annapolis, a St. John’s lecture

stjohnsAl Luckenbach, who served as the Anne Arundel County archaeologist for 26 years, will present “Uncovering the History of Anne Arundel County.” His presentation will explore the significance of the Anne Arundel County archaeology program, covering many of the sites that Luckenbach has explored over the years. The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held in the Francis Scott Key Auditorium on Tuesday, May 12 at 8 p.m.

The Maryland History Lecture series is co-sponsored by the Friends of St. John’s College and the Anne Arundel County Trust for Historic Preservation.
