Homestead Gardens’ first annual Tassels and Tails (rumored to become THE social event of the year), is the ultimate pet fashion show. It features the latest styles for canine and their humans, modeled by our area’s noted trendsetters. Presented by our friends at Annapolis Hyundai, the fashion show takes place on the runway at Homestead Gardens, Davidsonville and promises to be spectacular.
20 entrees will vie for the coveted Best Dressed Duo and Runner Up Duo, awarded by our distinguished panel of judges:
- Community philanthropist, Cathy Belcher
- What’s Up founder and publisher, Veronica Tovey
- Patrick Wergin, VP Annapolis Hyundai
- Kendra Riddle representing Homestead Gardens Farm & Pet department
The audience will select “The People’s Choice” – sure to be a real nail biter. Following the show, award ceremonies and the paparazzi, entrees and attendees will rock out to the tunes of Mad Planet and continue to enjoy food and libations from the Azure at the Westin. The evening will also include a “paddle wave” auction and a raffle benefitting the SPCA of Anne Arundel County.

Schedule of Events
5:00 – Green Room Opens for pets and their person(s) to meet and greet, groom and graze (snacks will be available)
6:00 – Azure at the Westin Annapolis open for libations & light fare
6:30 – Fashion Show and Contest on the Runway
7:30 – Awards Ceremony and Paparazzi
8:00 – Mad Planet Rocks out the Night

The safety of furry friends is our first priority! In the interest of all participants, please abide by the following rules:
- All dogs must be leashed
- Rabies shots and vaccinations must be up to date
- Must wear dog tags at all times (applies to dogs and cats –not people!)
- Pets must display canine social graces
- Please relieve your pet outside
