Motorcycle Ride for Life scheduled for May 9th

Ride for Life flyerThe Pregnancy Clinic will host the 1st Ride for Life, a 90-mile scenic motorcycle ride, on Saturday May 9th, 2015. The Ride for Life raises funds and awareness for the work of the Pregnancy Clinic, a faith-based, medical non-profit, offering a comprehensive range of totally free services including pregnancy testing, ultrasound, STD/HIV testing, counseling, community resources, referrals and educational classes to over 1200 women in our communities every year.

Since opening in 1982, over 25,000 women and families have received completely free care, services and ongoing support. The Pregnancy Clinic does not accept state or government funding and is entirely supported by private donations from individuals, businesses, churches and foundations.

The Ride for Life begins with breakfast donated by Chick-fil- A and Starbucks at Arundel Christian Church in Glen Burnie. The route goes through parts of Anne Arundel and Prince George’s Counties, driving by the three clinic locations, Bowie, Severna Park and Annapolis.   The Ride will end at Bay Area Community Church in Annapolis with a BBQ lunch donated by The Port Public House, with a presentation from the Pregnancy Clinic.

Registrations are requested asap for lunch planning, but day of in person registrations will be accepted. Details and online registration can be found at www.rideforlifemd.org .
