Baysox starter Branden Kline overpowered Richmond with his mid-90’s fastball, striking out ten of 20 batters faced to earn his first league win in a Baysox 2-1 win Sunday afternoon. With the win, the Baysox split the series with Richmond.
Bowie grabbed the early lead for Kline. CF Glynn Davis led the game off with a groundball double down the right field line. One pitch later he was home as LF Mike Yastrzemski slashed a single to right-center to put Bowie atop, 1-0.
