Fish or Fowl at the Annapolis Maritime Museum

Come to the Annapolis Maritime Museum for an Opening Art Reception, Sunday April 26, from 3 – 5 p.m. Some creatures are destined for skillets, ponds or to give us a scare, while others may fly formation, dine on fish or learn to mimic. This open juried exhibition, organized by Maryland Federation of Art, features 2-D artwork depicting the daily and nightly doings of fish and fowl. On display April 15 – May 31st. Juror: Christopher Sloan, Executive Director of the Allegany Arts Council and president of Science Visualization. All artwork will be offered for sale and proceeds will support the artists as well as the Museum.

The Museum is open to the public Thursday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Museum is located at 723 Second Street in Eastport, right at the mouth of Back Creek.
