Artistic Flame to hold Artisan Boutique at Severna Park Community Center

artisticflameIt is with great excitement that The Artistic Flame Art Center announces their partnership with The Severna Park Community Center. The Artistic Flame will be conducting workshops, classes and art events at the Community Center.

Debra Soreff, founder and executive director of The Artistic Flame, knew she wanted to be and artist at age 5 and has pursued that dream and made it a reality. She holds a degree in sculpture with a minor in fiber and ceramics from the Massachusetts College of Art. Debra has been teaching adult and children’s classes for 18 years. Deb is collaborating with local artists to bring art awareness, education and opportunity to the community. “Our mission is to create an art center that inspires interest and participation in the arts for everyone in our community.”

The Artistic Flame will be hosting an Artisan Boutique and sale on Saturday, April 11, 2015 from 10-4 at The Holy Grounds at SPCC. Local artisans will be exhibiting their work at the boutique. Adding to the appeal of supporting these local artisans will be the boutique’s charity mission. Vendors have donated selections of their work for raffles, and all proceeds will go to benefit The Cisco Center, a non-profit center serving children and families with special needs.

To register for a workshop, class or to get more information about the Artisan Boutique, contact The Artistic Flame at 443-784-5624 or email: [email protected]. The website is www.theartisticflame.com

The Severna Park Community Center is located at 623 Baltimore-Annapolis Blvd. Severna Park, Maryland 21146.
