neo is a new, fast– casual pizza and craft beer restaurant that recently opened in the Annapolis Towne Centre. Leho Poldmae has worked closely with executive chef Mark Bolan to bring his vision to life in this modern, inviting atmosphere.
The restaurant set up includes communal tables and an open kitchen to create a social, flexible atmosphere. Streamlined ordering allows diners to place their order as soon as they arrived, then have a seat and relax while the food is made to order and deliver to the table. Patrons can stop in for a quick bite with the family, grab a glass of wine and stay for a a while, or come by for a much-needed happy hour.
neo’s menu offerings include artisan pizza, fresh salads, gourmet paninis and small plates. Gluten-free options are also available. A few specialties on the menu pay homage to the Annapolis area’s reputation as a seafood destination including Maryland crab soup, crab cakes sliders, and the ever popular Chesapeake specialty pizza.
Neo features a full bar that includes classic cocktails, martinis, whiskeys and bourbons and small batch wine. neo also has craft beers on tap including three of their house made selections for those patrons that prefer microbrews.
The new restaurant is located in the Annapolis Towne Center and is accessible from the large, free garage attached to Target. While officially open, they plan to host a grand opening celebration sometime in April. For now, they are making sure that all of the T’s are crossed and the I’s dotted in terms of food, service, and atmosphere!
