Homestead Gardens Annual Flower Show

celebrate-maryland-logoHomestead Garden’s 2015 Flower and Garden show features vignettes of Maryland’s natural treasures, artfully crafted with thousands of flowers, shrubs and trees. Designed and created by Homestead Garden’s team of designers and artisans, the Maryland shoreline comes to life with flowering waves of pansies, sandy beaches and native grasses. Stroll on to the bountiful farmlands of the Eastern Shore, depicting agricultural life. “Land” on the docks of the State Capital where the Chesapeake Bay meets Historic Annapolis. Take refuge for a moment in the depth and beauty of the mountains created with assorted rock garden perennials flowers, evergreens, trees and shrubs. The trail takes you on to the Urban Garden – beautiful and noteworthy. Here Homestead highlights bringing green into the city with new ways to garden and grow in small spaces.

“This was a labor of love, from design to construction our team has seen to every detail, painstakingly adding the flowers to form a wave, shrubs and trees to make up our woodlands,” said owner Brian Riddle. The minute you enter you are greeted with a huge Maryland Flag of flowers – bursting with color! Stroll through our showroom and you are reminded of how bountiful and beautiful our state is, from city to farmland, mountains and our shores – Maryland has it all.”

Celebrate Maryland is FREE and opens on March 14 through March 22. Prepare to be amazed and feel your Maryland Pride soar. This flower show will inspire, inform, educate and make you want to celebrate Maryland for months to come.
