The CYSO celebrates its 25th anniversary with a special Annual Gala Sunday, March 15 at St. John’s College Key Auditorium in Annapolis. There will be two concerts—one in the afternoon at 2 p.m. and one in the evening at 7:30 p.m. The evening concert features Irish music with a performance by the renowned Irish acoustic group, Lunasa, and the CYSO Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Music Director Julien Benichou. Doors open at 6 p.m. for refreshments including wine, beer and Irish fare, plus music by the Jazz ensemble. Silent auction items will be available as well as chances for a $5000 travel voucher! All proceeds support CYSO programs. The afternoon concert begins at 2 p.m. for the Preparatory, Strings, Jr. Flutes, Wind Ensemble and Concert Orchestra with refreshments and raffles beginning at 1 p.m.
