Actress Marlee Roberts to attend Annapolis Film Festival

The Annapolis Film Festival is pleased to announce actress Marlee Roberts will attend the screenings of her latest film Night Has Settled at the festival March 27 and 29th. Following the screenings will be a Q&A with Roberts and other cast members. In addition, Roberts will be a guest on Annapolis FIlm Festival’s “Women Filmmakers” Panel. 

Marlee Roberts can also be seen in feature film The English Teacher (released theatrically in 2013) and as the new cover model for the Scholastic Animorphs book series. Roberts has also produced the short films Elm Gardens (2012) and Justice in D Minor (2013) both of which premiered at the Festival de Cannes. She is now gearing up for the release of her directorial feature film debut Little Miss Perfect.

Night Has Settled made its world premiere at the Santa Barbara Film Festival followed by a NY premiere at the SoHo Int’l Film Festival. Directed by Steve Clark, Night Has Settled is set in NYC in 1983 and tells the story of Oliver Nicholas (Spencer List) as he enters the precocious teenage world when he is traumatized by the stroke of his housekeeper (Oscar-nominated Adriana Barraza). Roberts plays the role of “Annabel”, an innocent teenager who falls in love with Oliver, her boyfriend’s best friend.
